Lake George Scott Trail

Lake George Scott Trail – started January 2022 and completed March 2022

With the Mackenzie Council logging of the original trail, Tekapo Trails saw a need to reinstate a better and safer trail taking users from the top of Andrew Don Drive down to the Kayak Course and the Tekapo B Power Station. We contracted DirtTrail Builders to form the trail and using wheelbarrows up and downhill, the trail was metalled down to the kayak course. This trail now forms a perfect loop to and from Tekapo Township we call Powerhouse Loop.
